We had our first snow today after two days of rain. Everyone at school was pretty excited but, school as usual tomorrow since temperatures are just above freezing and the ground is so warm that it all melted. I have a bad cold and had to limp through the day carrying a roll of toilet paper with me all day to control my nose.
In Genetics, we went over the rules and consequence of the rules for the Hardy-Weinberg Equalibrium as we finished Chapter 15 ... population genetics. We are wrapping up our review game tournament ... still a couple of teams without a win. Tomorrow ... on to Chapter 16 ... early primates.
In Selected Topics today we started our study of taxonomy ... starting with the Animal Kingdom. Tomorrow Platyhelminthes, Nematodes and Annelida. We also started studying for the Big Bird test ... bird identification.
In computer programming we are working on our casino problem ... VB Prob 6. Also started to think about exit projects for our final.
Went to softball lifting but left early as not to give my cold to our players ... Coach Carter took practice.
