Today in AP Biology, we put our F1 flies into culturing tubes students had prepared. These F2 offspring will be counted in two weeks. We are looking at the apterous wing mutation and white eye sex-linked mutant. We also demonstrate on our whiteboards how different kinds of mutations can change mRNA and the coded proteins.
