We got in another full week of classes with warming temperatures and a hope of spring. After school today, I took a walk to the bottom and the frogs (hundreds) along Long Creek and the wetlands were making a lot of noise. Yesterday it was 70 degrees with a thunderstorm just after dark. I was outside enjoying the thunderstorm on the porch when I saw a spring peeper on our sliding door ... our cat Bossy was checking it out from inside the house.
Today at school, we finished our unit on chemistry in Selected Topics. On Monday, we will be starting the BLAST Lab, analyzing DNA strands from a prehistoric organism.
