Snow and No School today!

About three inches of snow in Holland and cold ... fed birds this AM and sweep the snow off the porches.  Working on some odd jobs and will grade papers after lunch and enter some grades.

Our Patriot Softball Booster Club meeting will be postponed until next Monday evening.

No Allen County Beekeepers meeting today ... I checked my hives on Sunday morning without opening them.  Made sure the bottom boards were completely in and duck taped the ventilation holes.  It is a long way to February but they all had significant honey reserves with the exception of one hive and I will continue to feed them through the winter ... hopefully they will make it.

As for schedule changes ... I don't know if they will have club schedule tomorrow but, our schedule is set ...

Genetics - we will now be having our test on Thursday if we have club schedule tomorrow.  I will finish handing out AP books to non-genetics students for second semester and giving them their Christmas reading assignment in Genetics.  Your sample AP exam is due on Tuesday still.

Computer Programming - Hope your project is getting close because we will begin checking them on Wednesday and finish on Thursday.

Selected Topics in Science ... we will start our Exit Project presentations on Wednesday ... Poster or Powerpoint, verbal summary (3-5 minutes), and written summary in the form of an article for a school newspaper or website.  Be ready to go!

Hard to predict if we will go to school next Monday or Tuesday in which case, we will move some of our project deadlines back a day or two.

Hope you have a great day ... be careful if you have to drive!
