Structure contest over ... ACT tomorrow!

We had softball practice after school on the field.  We worked on fielding, relays and baserunning.  It was cold but tomorrow should be warmer.  First scrimmage will be at Beech HS on Saturday.

We finally had a regular schedule today.  In AP, we worked on classification of animals and will continue our study of taxonomy after the ACT.

In Selected Topics in Science, we tested our structures ... 34 grams, 8" tall and a 2" center.  Congrats to the winning team of Kacy, Tasha and Hazel ... their structure held 102 lbs before breaking ... a little short of the record of 255 lbs.
