Friday - Beat Raiders and picts

A busy Friday ... In Genetics we conducted our Population Genetics lab with Case Studies to simulate genetic drift, selection and heterozygous advantage (remember sickle cell anemia!).  We will finish this up with a discussion and some calculations on Monday (remember that Monday is club schedule!)

Selected Topics in Science finished their Super Structures today after looking over some the the biggest and historic structures of the world.  Pictures of the structure building work below!

Computer programming was busy trying to finish up their graphics problems today and we will start checking their solutions on Monday.

First 9-weeks period was over today with grades due by Friday and Parent-Teacher conferences the following week.

Our son John came over for a little visit this evening.  It was great to see him!

Winners of the catapult below, Team Big Red ... David and cousins, Sean and Austin ... Great job!

We will have the last session of our Patriot softball camp starting at 1:30 tomorrow ... Patriot softball state champion ring ceremony will be on October 23rd ... a Sunday afternoon.
