Genetics retake tomorrow and picts

I had several students out of my Genetics class taking the PSAT this morning.  Those that remained worked through some Hardy Weinberg problems and reviewed for our Test II retake tomorrow.  Students put solutions on the board below ... David looks like he knows what he is doing! Yeah!

In Selected Topics we went over Newtons three laws with examples and worked through some physics problems calculating acceleration.  We spent about half the block working on our applied physics problem called Super Structure.  Students are building an 8" tower using Woodsies from Hobby Lobby ... not to exceed 34 grams ... we will test them to see how much weight they will hold on either Friday or Monday ... the class all time record is 270 lbs.

In computer science we are working all week on graphics and animation ...  Top picture ... this side of the room has really worked on their farm scene with 3 animated objects ... Bottom picture ... Nathan recovering from his ACL injury with his friend Monsieur Funnell ... they always complain that Kendra bothers them but look who is actually working!

After school, I came home and walked on 50 lbs of yellow sweet clover seed over about 8 acres ... probably put on too much!
